Dynamic Rendering

Dynamic rendering is a technical approach that serves a fully pre-rendered, static HTML version of a page specifically to search engine crawlers, while serving the standard, client-side rendered JavaScript version to regular human visitors.

This technique was historically used as a workaround for JavaScript-heavy websites where search engines struggled to properly render and index client-side content, though Google has stated its rendering capabilities have improved significantly since dynamic rendering was first recommended.

While still a viable solution for certain complex JavaScript frameworks, many websites today can achieve reliable indexing through server-side rendering or static site generation instead, without needing the added complexity of dynamic rendering.
