Breadcrumb Navigation

Breadcrumb navigation is a secondary navigation element, usually displayed as a horizontal trail near the top of a page (e.g., Home > Services > Technical SEO), showing users where the current page sits within the site’s overall hierarchy.

Beyond helping users navigate and understand site structure, breadcrumbs also carry SEO value: they reinforce internal linking, help search engines understand site architecture, and can appear directly in search results as breadcrumb rich results when marked up with the appropriate schema.

Breadcrumbs are especially valuable on larger websites with deep page hierarchies, such as e-commerce stores with multiple category and subcategory levels.

Breadcrumb implementation and schema markup are part of our Technical SEO service.
