The Challenge
A statewide healthcare network with 12 clinic locations was struggling to appear in local map pack results for any of their locations. Despite being a well-established brand with strong offline reputation, their Google Business Profile presence was inconsistent and unoptimized.
Our Approach
We audited all 12 GBP profiles and found significant inconsistencies in NAP data, incomplete service information, and an almost complete absence of patient reviews relative to competitors. We rebuilt each profile from scratch with complete, keyword-rich information and implemented a systematic review generation process across all locations.
We then built a local citation strategy covering 80 healthcare-specific and general directories, ensuring perfect NAP consistency across all sources. Location-specific landing pages were created for each clinic with geo-targeted content and locally relevant schema markup.
The Results
Within nine months, all 12 locations appeared in the map pack for their primary target searches. The network saw a 3x increase in appointment bookings attributed to organic search, and organic traffic to clinic pages grew 640%. The average Google rating across all locations improved from 3.8 to 4.7.
