Page Authority (PA) is a metric developed by Moz that scores an individual webpage, on a scale of 1 to 100, predicting how likely that specific page is to rank well in search results, based largely on its backlink profile.
Unlike Domain Authority, which evaluates an entire website’s overall strength, Page Authority focuses specifically on a single page’s individual ranking potential, useful for comparing the relative strength of different pages within a competitive analysis.
Like other third-party authority metrics, PA is not a Google ranking factor itself, but rather a useful proxy metric for comparative benchmarking between pages competing for similar keywords.
We use page-level authority metrics to inform our Link Building strategy.
